Topic one: BIOS
Okay, so I know that the only current WIP bio that will STILL be made for sure, I THINK, is Chell. I have yet to ask Maple. The others however, have been dropped for w/e reason. It's been ages since ParaWolf has been around, and I know Iro doesn't want to RP Donut anymore.
Does anyone have any preferences/opinions for or against me setting another unwritten rule about deleting WIP profiles after so many months? I mean really, some of those have been sitting around for almost a year. They clutter up the WIP progress and it's much easier on me to know there's been an update with out them adding to the numbers.
If any of the staff members or members think this is a good idea or bad idea, please add your two centers here. I'm thinking of adding to the site protocol that if a member or staff member DOESN'T tell us they're not making a character any more for w/e reason, that after three (or maybe more?) months we have a right to automatically remove it. I mean come on, it shouldn't take you THREE MONTHS to make a profile unless you have a really long LOA for w/e reason-and that would mean we know NOT to delete the profile. So please, give I, the Profile Manager your input, it'd be appreciated.
No, it's not a priority, but the board would be a tad bit less cluttered, aye?
Topic two: FINISHED THREADS
And in times of busyness, I was thinking that I could lock any finished threads so as to assist/remind Leathurkatt that some threads need to be archived/stamped and moved. I don't want to take her job so I thought I would offer this-at LEAST while I still have the time. When I go AWOL for a few months I won't be able to handle my role and yall will have to find someone else to take care of my duties, but when I return I can resume my normal roles.
AS FOR FORKED/HIATUS THREADS? I was thinking we should think about what to do about these. perhaps make a special board for them or something so they don't clutter up the more active threads...then again I might be like, OCD about this but I want member AND staff input on these ideas. I'm making character timelines so I can have a better time keeping track of character progress in terms of active, finished, and forked/hiatus (stalled for w/e reason) threads.
