It should be noted that Transformers are born with the Cyberglyphs they bear, these are not chosen and added later, but inherited and "branded" in place when their chassis forms, not unlike with human birthmarks. What glyphs are there is dictated by the lineage and personality inherent in that particular bot's Spark. Additional Cyberglyphs can be etched or painted on later like tattoos, but the bot is very unlikely to know what they mean in the case of the ones from the "Language of the Primes", while the Autobot and Decepticon Cyberglyphs will be well known to them.
